Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Civil rights activist and leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., received the Nobel Peace prize in 1964, and just four years later was assassinated. http://www.history.com/topics/black-history//martin-luther-king-jr

mlk-jr_1312graphicNearly 50 years later, we honor his memory and accomplishments on a federal holiday set aside on which to reflect. We have much work still to be done to fully realize Dr. King’s dream.
